I fell in love with photography in a one-hour service lab, long before I even knew what the exposure triangle or rule of thirds were. Back then, I would only take holiday and candid photos on an old Polaroid SX-70 camera. But when Polaroid Originals bought one of my pictures to promote a new line of instant film, I knew I was onto something. Since then, I’ve embraced the resurgent beauty of 35mm and 120 film. My work draws inspiration from many genres between portraiture, street and documentary. Being deeply rooted in music and writing, storytelling always plays a crucial role in the shots I take. As an avid connoisseur of Japanese photography and aesthetics, I strive to incorporate its nuanced distortions and controlled chaos into my work, giving it a cinematic yet nostalgic approach that is found in the craft of many contemporary authors, from Alessio Albi to Cho Gi-Seok
